Shell
Drum Shells were formed by 2-ply Birch Inner, 2-ply Maple Core, and 2-ply Birch outer. Combining the focuse and warm tone from qualified Birch and Maple wood in order to make Ludwig Epic's ultra-thin 6-ply shell to make loud volume and excellent overtones. Producing a wet, powerful sound that is best-suited to high-volume situations. Epic Series drums are just as at home in the studio as they are in the gigging circuit.
